Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) Treatment
There are 4 groups of patients who use or may need to use CPAP therapy:

  1. Patients diagnosed with sleep apnea and are already using a CPAP machine. If you are in this group, you should bring your CPAP machine to the hospital to use after your surgical procedure.
  2. Patients diagnosed with sleep apnea but are non-compliant with CPAP therapy, meaning that they don't have a CPAP machine or don't want to use their CPAP machine.
  3. Patients diagnosed with mild sleep apnea and do not need CPAP treatment.
  4. Patients with suspected sleep apnea.
